Are cellphones a drug

Are students addicted to their, If so, is that a problem?

I think students are not addicted to their cellphones but the apps they have on them e.x. snap chat,
Facebook or Instagram. People say that kids now days are anti-social but really the most of the time we
are chatting with our friends via social media. Some kids may feel the need to be on their cell phones all
the time, but it is not an addiction they are most likely chatting with friends. In this age smartphones are
our main source of communication and without out them we would not be able to achieve many things
like travelling or call family

Chapter 63- Zelie

Chapter 63 - Zélie
“You know what intrigues me about your kind? You always start in the middle
of the story. As if my father didn’t fight for your rights. As if you maggots didn’t
burn my family alive.”
“You can’t enslave an entire people for the rebellion of a few.”
Saran bares his teeth. “You can do whatever you want when you’re the king.”

When Zeli was young the king acted in rage and vengeance getting lost in the power that came with being king. He acted when his head was not in the right place and now is facing the rage of the maji who want to bring back magic to orisha.

Chapter 59 – Zélie

Chapter 59 – Zélie
“How will me coming back to Lagos solve any of that?” I ask. “As we speak,
your father calls for my head!”
“My father’s scared.” Inan shakes his head. “He’s misguided, but his fear is

justified. All the monarchy’s ever seen is the destruction maji can bring.
They’ve never experienced anything like this.” He gestures to the camp, faces
alight with so much hope his smile practically glows in the darkness. “Zulaikha
created this in one moon, and there are already more diviners in Lagos than
anywhere else in Orïsha. Just imagine what we could accomplish with the
resources of the monarchy behind us.”

I think that Inan has the wrong ideas for the right reasons and his judgment can some times be cloudy by his hopes for the Orïsha, we can see what he hopes magic could be used for.

Chapter 52- Amari

A message I take from this scene is that sometimes even family can be the bad guy, but I think he deserves a second chance and to be trusted because he now has something to gain from bringing back the magic ex: a better orisha
